Brad – My name is Bradley, I have been working closely with mobie for over a year heading up the Business development side of the project and leading the partnerships.

Q1. To be able to pay using MobiePay, it is necessary that the seller is an affiliate of the platform? Is it possible to use MobiePay anywhere as if it were a debit card that is accepted worldwide?

Roman – NO we want to empower the world to benefit. anyone that sees value from our platform can download our wallet and transact on a day to day basis using their funds with local merchants. Eventually (very soon) we will have debit cards accepted worldwide.

Q2. How can non-crypto users make a payment for real life services like Transportation (Bus, Rail, Rideshare)… In your opinion, What are some difficulties for users outside of the cryptocurrency space when accessing Mobie Pay ?

Roman – We have partnered with over 350 name brand merchants that allow for our users to transact on a day to day basis using our platform. We have tried to remove all difficulties and empower the users with rewards and incentives allowing them to get cash back and access to loyalty programs.

Brad – We also facilitate for fiat, not just crypto.

Q3. How does the reward mechanism work when one uses your payment services? currently which FIAT currencies are active on the platform?

Brad – The rewards system is based on agreements with merchants, we will be releasing more details on this closer to launch, We have a tiered system depending on how much MBX will be staked by the user. Currently we have USD and EURO but are in the process on onboarding all major FIAT currencies.

Q4. As far I know that Stellar is an open-source network for currencies and payments . So Why does MobieCoin (MBX) built on Stellar Blockchain ? How Stellar better than typical blockchain-based systems ? Speed , transactions fee or more energy-efficient….?

Roman – Stellar empowers users to get access to low cost transactions, transparency and ability to transfer funds anywhere in the world. We are able to bring down costs to almost zero!!

Brad – Speed was one other major factor, with stellar settling low cost transactions in 2-5 seconds.

Q5. What are the coins already accepted as payment for MobiePay? Do you have any plan to add more coins as a mode of payment?

Roman – We accept Stellar, MBX and Fiat. We have over 50 coins in the pipeline. Platforms interested in adding their coin would simply reach out to us to discuss details and we would integrate with their solutions.

Brad – There will some announcements on this soon with projects we implementing co marketing and bringing a user base.

Q6. How is the MBX token used? How to keep motivated to hold MBX tokens for a long term?

Roman – MBX can be used in the Mobie wallet with other members in the community or at over 2500 locations through our partnered merchants. Look for anouncements on new partners being added on a weekly basis.

Q7. Your website says that “MobiePay provides proprietary data to merchants that can be used to market to customers” What kind of “data” do you mean? Data on customer behavior towards a product? Or personal data on prospective customers?

Brad – Hey Kevin, There will be an option in the application to turn this on and off if you dont want data collected, those who supply data will receive rewards for doing so, Location, payments and other data will be collected if a user wishes, if any data is given to merchants it is given anonymously with no details about the individuals users details.

Q8. Despite the fact that mobiePay provides the best comforts to its users in transactions, do you think the project is completely complete? Or what can you tell us about future advances and changes that they will make?

Brad – We are speaking to several Defi and Cefi pojects about offering in app interest on assets stored in mobie, there is alot more happening behind the scenes and we will spoke on those items individually when we are ready.

Q9. Can Mobiepay do offline transaction to do payment from person to person in real life? Can you share the calculation of Mobiepay fees in the platform?

Roman – We can do offline transactions through the use of prepaid transactions. If a user purchases something from a merchant and then goes in store to pay, they are able to redeem the funds for those goods. Other then that, we do not support offline transaction.

Q10. How to be motivated to use MobiePay? What are the benefits of using?

Roman – We empower users to get discounts at local merchants, get access to MBX rewards and get cash back.

Q11. Staking is the new trend. What staking options are available for $MBX token? Does Bithumb plan to launch any Staking program for $MBX soon? Are there any incentives for Staking with MobiePay?

Brad – Hello, We have had staking in our whitepaper for over a year, we will enable staking for different tiered rewards aswell as interest or rewards on stored assets.

Q12. MobiePay is an incredible DApp. But what makes it particularly different from other payment DApps? They all use Fiat and digital coins, but on MobiePay you can have even the most remote Fiat coins? Is your platform available for Latin America?

Roman – Mobie empowers everyday transactions. We have worked hard to bring over 300 brands to the mobiepay ecosystem. The platform is available world wide and you are able to transact with any of our partners.

Q13. Is Mobiepay planning to accept payment for credit / debit card ?, or maybe a local bank in each country?

Brad – Yes, we are implementing onboaring for CC,DC and direct bank deposits. Since we facilitate for fiat and crypto, we will also be building an in app currency exchange, this will enable user to swap their assets within the mobie ecosystem.

Q14. What is the long-term vision of this MobiePay project really? is it simply to achieve adoption in all existing markets and implement this financial system in the new world order?

Roman – We are working on POS, Affiliate, Gaming, and bringing every merchant onto the platform to empower our users to maximize the value through the platform.

Q15. What is the next goals of this project? Are you planning to release an application for iOS / Android users?

Brad – We will roll out our IOS and andriod application during Q1 of 2021.

Q16. With Visa or Mastercard, transactions are made in seconds but not settled in seconds. They always have chargebacks and other legacy issues. What will Mobie Pay do to avert all these for users?

Brad – One major item we focus on is eliminating chargebacks, we offer instant settlement for merchants and users.

Q17. It really seems strange to me that such a multifunctional platform has such low fees, so is MobiePay really a non-profit platform? only your users matter?

Brad – We make our money from the merchants and hand that onto our users.

Q18. What is the weaknesses of payment system these days that Mobiepay try to fix? Also most of payment system have problem of slow Transaction speed, how will Mobiepay solve these issues?

Roman – Speed, Cost, Trust, Access, and Reputation. We have really fast settlement times that empower you to have confidence within the platform.

Q19. What technology being used to help MobiePay bring a fast transaction? If transaction is fast, so transaction fee is higher too?

Brad – This is why we are based on stellar, low fess 100,000 transactions for less then a penny, and settled in 3-5 seconds.

Q20. Where is MobiePay used? Will MobiePay expand the global market?

Roman – Mobie is used globally and allows users to transact with fiat or crypto anywhere in the world.

Q21. How to be motivated to use MobiePay? What are the benefits of using?

Brad – when we launch, Cash back on Cash and major retailers globally, as well as earning rewards on stored assets.

Q22. I think that the main challenge for Mobeipay will be partnerships with the banks. How are you planning the integration with the current payment system, and more, how can you see as a good way to make Mobeipay worldwide integrated with all the banks, and there are a lot of different rules depending on the country’s governments?

Roman – We already have partnerships with some of the largest banks all over the world. These integrations allow our users to benefit from traditional banking systems and get access to our platform to empower their crypto spending.

Q23. Security and transparency are essentials for long-term development. How is the Mobie security system built? Can you demonstrate Mobie’s transparency?

Roman – Mobie has developed bank grade technology that is audited on a weekly basis to insure stability, security and with the use of blockchain empowers users with trust through transparency.

Q24. What is the GIG Economy? How does this mechanism and the integration with MobiePay work? Does this facilitate the purchase/sale of products? Is it as fast as ethereum transactions?

Brad – The gig economy is based on flexible, temporary, or freelance jobs, often involving connecting with clients or customers through an online platform. There are some major issues in the gig economy when it comes to Payments and mistreatment of payments, we have solutions that will solve this along with a simple and easy global mass pay function. This can facilitate for sales as influencers and content creators are part of the gig economy.

Q25. Has MobiePay’s smart contract been audited? Which company carried out the audit and what were its results?

Roman – Yes, We go through a complete audit on a weekly basis, and have all our blockchain technology audited by Solidified / Cryptronics.

Q26. I want to learn more about MobiePay ,but the information is very small, most of MobiePay social networks are less active, the community is relatively empty and less, what strategy does MobiePay team have to develop the community and maintain long-term user?

Roman – As we grow we are getting involved with communities all over the world to bring education and solutions to their area. We are always looking for strong active influencers in those areas who beleive in our solutions to expand our vision and access to the world. We have over 500 brand ambassadors that are helping us educate new teritories with these oportunities.

Q27. Can you explain what is MobieX? What is this feature use for? Recently I see Mobiepay mention gaming sector, What is the step Mobiepay will support in gaming platform?

Brad – Mobie X is the side of mobie that focuses on digital exchange of currencies, think of it as a simple currency exchange that has both fiat and crypto currency, allowing users to have exposure to different currencies at their finger tips.
As for the gaming sector, we are working with a few projects in the gaming industry on building custom payment solutions leveraging mobie inside their platforms, more announcements on this will coming in the coming months

Q28. What has been the most challenging part of developing of the MobiePay ? What is the biggest challenge you currently face in order to get MobiePay finalized?

Roman – Blockchain and Crypto is still very new and has had a lot of bad reputation. We have faced challenges seporating ourselves from the other companies that bring a negative nerative to this market. Education and expansion of MobiePay globally is alway a challange that we take on proudly.

Q29. Partnerships and communities are the key to success of projects, can you tell me how Mobie will expand partnerships and which markets will Mobie focus on?

Roman – We are expanding into the gaming markets with a focus on solving their needs and bringing day to day fiat and crypto transactions to our users day to day lives. We are working to have Mobie a name brand trusted solution to shop globally and locally.

Q30. MobiePay is an incredible DApp. But what makes it particularly different from other payment DApps? They all use Fiat and digital coins, but on MobiePay you can have even the most remote Fiat coins? Is your platform available for Latin America?

Brad – We have a large focus on emerging markets, while you currently cant use our payment apps in LATAM, we are in the process of securing some partners in the different jurisdictions to enable LATAM to be one of our primary launch zones.

Q31. Every coin is now doing DeFi, will $ MBX also be applicable on DeFi? What are your plans for DeFi?

Roman – We definelty have some DeFi protocals and solutions we are working on to empower the world. Rather then focusing on hype and keywords. Mobie focuses on solutions and only announces them when we have successfuly brought these solutions to market. Stay tooned for new announcements and solutions weekly.

Q32. Will your payment infrastructure be integrated into POS systems soon? Can users get transaction fee discounts when paying with MobiePay?

Brad – We are already directly integrated with some global retailers, yes our fees are lower then the traditional payment system.

Q33. I have been researching this MobiePay project thoroughly, why doesn’t it have more recent news? Could it be that there has been no progress in the development of this project? Will it be due to personnel limitations due to the pandemic?

Roman – We post news on a weekly basis on our website, announcement channel and other platforms. Please keep an eye out for more amazing news

Q34. Can I really implement payment through MobiePay for my employees in my company? What guidelines should I follow to achieve this? Would a staff member of your company give training to my staff for its implementation?

Brad – We would be more then happy to assist.

Q35. AmazonPay, Alipay, Paypal are currently one of the many payment methods for online purchases with the most users and usage in the world. How do Mobie Pay compete with these project and What are Mobie Pay advantages?

Roman – We are focusing on offline payments with physical merchants throughout the world. With our partners users can transact at their local stores. We still have a very strong online payment community that everyone expects.

Q36. Too many projects promise magic but never release any working product or prove any revenue, Within a short/long time of release. Is your project also like this? If not can u tell us, What makes your project different from other projects?

Brad – We have been building and working for 2 years. we are currently testing our products.

Q37. Is Mobiepay planning to accept payment for credit / debit card ?, or maybe a local bank in each country?

Roman – We will soon accept and offer credit / debit solutions that empower users to interact with ANY merchant, not only our partners! We are currently in over 50 countries.

Q38. Your project looks good but it confuses me that there are so many other Blockchain project. What should I pay attention in Your project to give it the importance it deserves? What are your planning to achieve with your project?

Roman – Thank you for your kind worlds. We do agree with you. The blockchain world has been consumed with many good and not so good solutions. We are focusing on solving global financial problems through the use of enterprise and complex technologies to bring real and working solutions to the world. Mobie empowers users today to utilize the platform and get value from day one. We are focusing on the solution and not just blockchain. We want to bring the world a universal wallet that empowers every day transactions and brings value to each user.

Q39. Tell us a little bit about the MobiePay Affiliate system of the merchants How much are the commissions? Is it possible to earn good money if you have a relatively large business???

Brad – Our affiliate system will be announced closer to launch with full details outlines on commissions, Our affiliate system isn’t just on a user level, its also on the merchant level, Eg is a user signs up a new merchant, that user will receive a % of commission from that retailer on all payments made there via mobiepay, the same system works when a user brings a friend to mobie, the user would receive commission on all spending that friend does. we also make money from merchants not users. so the commission wont be coming from your friend but the retailer your friend purchases from.

Q40. I am very impressed with what MobiePay project wants to do, so I want to ask MobiePay has a plan to develop the market in Asia? Let me have a chance to join MobiePay’s house!

Brad – Asia is a market we are looking at very closely, unfortunately we can speak to much on this yet.

Q41. If I use Mobie Pay , how will I get rewards, aside from referring friends? Do you have any cashback or discounting promotion in paying online using Mobie Pay? Can you explain more about the reward system in Mobie Pay? How it works? Thank you!

Roman – Yes, you can earn cash back and discounts, specials, when using Mobie Pay. as you spend a % goes back into your wallet right away empowering you to maximize value and continue spending.

Q42. The ETH blockchain is very slow, high fees. So why did you build $MBX on the ETH blockchain? What is the main reason for building it on Ethereum blockchain rather than building it on BEP- 2/ TRC- 20/ DOT Blockchain? Do you have plans to launch your own mainnet?

Brad – We are stellar based not Ethereum based.

Q43. When organizing I believe that MobiePay wants to share a lot of project information with the community. How can our community help MobiePay ? What role can communities play in the MobiePay ecosystem?

Roman – We are looking for community members all over the world to join our family and educate their communities (locally) about Mobie.

Q44. Mobiе Pay represents the financial ecosystem for customers and merchants. It also includes fiat payments. As we can see earlier it’s difficult to deal with governments or Visa/MasterCard etc. So how do you solve this problem?

Brad – We chose our initial market as the US for the reason of compliance, We are compliant in one of the strictest areas so it will enable us to rollout in different jurisdictions with a little less pressure.

Q45. Why are you targeting millennials and gamers? What problems currently exist and that MobiePay can be solved for this public?

Roman – We are targeting the worlds need to get access to their crypto quickly and for everyday transactions. Our focuses come from solving important problems in the market today and provide a solution that empowers users to maximize the benefit of everyday spending regardless of online or offline.

Q46. I think that the main challenge for Mobeipay will be partnerships with the banks. How are you planning the integration with the current payment system, and more, how can you see as a good way to make Mobeipay worldwide integrated with all the banks, and there are a lot of different rules depending on the country’s governments?

Brad – We already have partnerships in place with some global retailers and have banking partner in the US, we are currently talking with possible banking partners inside the EU, personally we dont see this as an issue at all as we provide a strong value pitch that makes sense for everyone.

Steve – Hello everyone! So unfortunately Juliun was busy at this time, but I am very excited to be here with you. I am the Project Manager with Sesameseed and Unifi.

Mayank – Could you please tell our community about the Unifi Protocol.

Steve – Definitely. Unifi Protocol is a group of non-custodial, interoperable, decentralized, and multi-chain smart contracts providing the building blocks for the next generation of DeFi development, focusing on building a community-driven ecosystem of governance and innovative DeFi products.
That’s just a fancy way of saying its a group of smart contracts designed for DeFi and for people to use.
We developed Unifi from the ground up as a series of smart contracts similar (but not a copy) to other Defi Exchanges, that allows for individuals to provide liquidity and earn a share of the protocol fees in a sustainable way.

Q1. I have read about proposals offered by the platforms to establish an innovative community governance model….. what kind of governance model does Unifi use and how does the community promote this governance?

Steve – This is a questions that everyone is wondering about! We have slowly been releasing more and more information about it – in fact, we just released the UNFI Litepaper on our website!
It’s actually a two-tiered system. Blockchain-specific governance decisions can be decided by UP tokens holders, but I think you were asking about UNFI. We actually just released our UNFI Litepaper the other day – it’s available on our website. It has some more information about our global cross-chain governance token,UNFI. Over 55% of the token is allocated for the community to obtain just by using the platform and participating in its governance.
So Unifi will be acting like a DAO because UNFI token holders will influence the decision making and evolution of the platform through voting and proposals. Of course, they would also be rewarded for doing so.

Q2. What is really the mission and vision of this Unifi Protocol project? Is it simply to develop a platform that provides greater liquidity to users and in various chains other than ETH?

Steve – Oh, Unifi will be coming to Ethereum though 😉
When building Unifi, we really thought through the existing systems (balancer, uniswap, bancor) and identified some areas we could improve to make the economy surrounding these systems more sustainable. Some of the most important changes we made were to our rewards mechanism, which unlike other protocols happens entirely on chain and is managed by the smart contracts.
This mechanism also allows the value of the rewards that individuals earn to increase over time. The value it can be redeemed for on each chain can literally never go down! You can verify this in the smart contract, or take a look at our website for the live tracker. It goes up a little bit after each trade.
In addition, Unifi is designed to be a cross-chain Defiplatform allowing communities from different blockchains to easily move into and out of different ecosystems. We want to bridge all the token economies together in a decentralized and trustless manner, and we hope to accomplish those lofty goals this quarter.

Q3. What liquidity model will Unifi Protocol use to increase token value? Can you explain the structure of the Unifi Protocol, What is the main focal point of your platform? Who is your target market? why investors should pay attention to Unifiprotocol?

Steve – Every time an UP in minted, the amount of native tokens it can be redeemed for goes up. So it’s redeem value can literally never go down. Some of our community members have said this has really helped them prevent impermanent loss when using our Defi product. We launched on Harmony yesterday, and UP started at 1 ONE. It can now be redeemed for over 8 ONE each, I believe. That’s what I mean (on the market, it may sell for more of course).
As for the Protocol, Unifi is completely different from all the other clones out there. We offer sustainable (key word: sustainable) tokenized rewards that are 100% backed by funds governed by smart contract. As well, we are not just one product, we are an entire cross chain protocol, which means an unlimited number of products can be built using our smart contracts, and our token holders still benefit no matter who develops them. Our governance model is unique, with migration between liquidity mining on any blockchain and cross chain governance participation.
And that’s why I believe people should be paying attention to Unifi.

Q4. Are there rewards for participating in governance decisions and proposals? What actions should users take to maximize their reward income regarding the Unifi participation system?

Steve – Definitely! So if you take certain actions with your UNFI, over time you will earn the right to vote on proposals, which will reward you with more UNFI. Over more time, you’ll earn the right to even make proposals – and that will also earn you more UNFI rewards.
To maximize your chances of earning the most rewards through the governance model, I would start mining UP now, by depositing liquidity on any or all the blockchains we have already launched on! The reason for that is because there is a third way to earn UNFI rewards – by migrating UP tokens that have been earned from liquidity mining. And the longer you wait, the less UP you will be able to accumulate as its redeem value goes up and up. BTW, there is a great diagram of all that in the unfi litepaper on our website.

Q5. What is UTrade? How does uTrade work? Why is uTrade better than the existing trading platforms?

Steve – UTrade is the trading platform built using the Unifi Protocol smart contracts. It’s a completely different liquidity mining experience compared to other platforms. The tokenized rewards dont face the same limitations that other platforms do when they only rewards in native tokens. Our UP token is 100% backed on chain by funds completely goverened by smart contract. Every time new UP is minted, it’s redeem value goes up. UPtrx went from 1 to over 6, UPone went from 1 to over 8…
Not only that, UP has yield farming built right into the token! Once you earn UP, it starts collecting a fee from every trade that happens in every pool on the entire platform. I don’t know if any other liquidity token offers that incentive!
We also offer a bonus to traders as well. They earn SEED as a rebate for each trade. This token, once it’s in your wallet, starts staking automatically on three different blockchains, with more chains being added. A trading rewards which automatically compounds for more rewards daily is something unique.
Finally, there is the UNFI cross-chain governance token, which can be obtained through the liquidity token UP. So using uTrade allows you to participate in its governance.

Q6. Will you do token burning and buy backs to greatly decrease the token supply and increase token value?

Steve – Yes! Great point. UP token is designed to be burned actually, every trade mints some amount of UP for the liquidity providers of that pair. a portion of the trading fee is reserved from every trade to increase the redeemable value of UP. Since UP is a 100% reserved token, Meaning it is actually backed in smart contract by an amount of ONE (which increases with every trade) if users burn it they receive the ONE that is backing it, which further increases the rate at which the redeem value increases. Its a sustainable cycle.

Q7. Could you tell us about your tokenomics? Unifi Protocol involves four types tokens: UP, uL, SEED and UNFI. What makes them unique and what role do they play in your protocol?

Steve – I highly recommend everyone take a look at our Medium blog, theres a great article on how all the different tokens work together.

Q8. As uTrade is built with the UNIFI protocol, anyone can develop a project with this protocol, in which they can modify the amount of UP that will settle or use fees? or is that already established and cannot be modified?

Steve – This is a great question noone has asked before. Love it . Let me answer!

Steve – The Protocol is not just a single product on a single blockchain. Its a group of smart contracts that any developers can use to build any type of product on multiple different blockchains, and UP/UNFI token holders benefit. The minting process of UP cannot be changed. That’s coded right into the smart contract. But other variables can be reconfigured.

Q10. The Ethereum blockchain is having some problems with its transaction speed and high gas fee,but why does UNFI still use Ethereum blockchain?Do you have any plans to launch your mainet or convert to other blockchains in the future?

Steve – We’ll be on lots of blockchains, connecting them all together!

Q12. Unifi Protocol was audited by SlowMist and you have strived to put all of your activities on chain and in smart contract. How can users have an access to the audit report?

Steve – Its on our website, together with the UNFI litepaper!

Q13. Really “Redeem UP tokens is an irreversible transaction”? why do it like this? So, I can not exchange and then generate liquidity again with that capital depleted in uL or UP?

Steve – This is part of the UP token burn process and benefits all UP token holders to make the redeem value go up.

Q14. Besides from UNFI and UP token, uTrade also has SEED token which play a vital role on its platform, Can you explain more about this SEED token? And why do we get the SEED tokens as a bonus after we do trade on uTrade?

Steve – I loooove talking about SEED haha. One of my favourite tokens. It’s Sesameseed’s rewards token, so when we developed Unifi Protocol smart contracts, of course we made it compatible with our token. I recommend everyone to learn more about Sesameseed, i think you will be amazed. No, i KNOW you will be amazed haha.

Q4. Lack of trustworthy oracles is a major impediment to the evolution of smart contracts and there is a need for new oracle technology in smart contract systems. How can Chainlink fill this gap?

Q8. Many people have heard of Chainlink but still do not fully understand how it works. How can you explain in a simple way how Chainlink works?

Keenan – Chainlink connects outside data to smart contracts. Smart contracts on their own are unable to access data & apis. Chainlink solves this problem.
Hopefully this answers a few questions that I see in here around differences and what makes Chainlink secure and better for developers and plans going forward.
High Quality Data With Premium APIs – Chainlink oracles solve the hard version of the oracle problem by fetching and delivering data to smart contracts from premium, password-protected data sources that require secure credentials management. Other oracle projects only aim to solve the easy version of the oracle problem by accessing free and public data sources that have no quality guarantees. Who is going to want to trigger a multi-billion dollar contract using a free or public API?
Highly Secure and Transparent Nodes – Chainlink oracle networks (feeds.chain.link) consist of security reviewed and tamper-resistant nodes, such as Deutsche Telekom’s T-Systems, that are highly transparent where performance and reputation metadata is made publicly available to users (reputation.link). Other oracle projects do not perform security reviews, make performance data available, or disclose the identity of nodes, creating a highly unreliable and opaque network.
Decentralized and Sybil Resistant Networks – Chainlink is the most decentralized oracle network, consisting of hundreds of public nodes (market.link), allowing for the creation of numerous Sybil-resistant and tamper-proof oracle networks that can scale up in decentralization as the value being secured rises. Other oracle projects feature only a small number of nodes, creating extremely minimal or non-existent Sybil-resistance or decentralization.
Defense in Depth – Chainlink employs a defense in depth approach where multiple security solutions are used in combination to increase oracle network robustness and reliability. This includes privacy-preserving cryptography like DECO, trusted hardware such as Town Crier, cryptoeconomic security through implicit/explicit staking, and much more. Other oracle networks do not take this multi-layered approach to security, but instead rely on a single approach, decreasing the end-to-end security.
Solid Security Foundation and Expert Team – The Chainlink team consists of numerous highly experienced and educated academics, such as Chief Scientist Ari Juels, who are industry experts in the field of blockchain oracles, making correct initial assumptions and rigorous validation in the implementation of the most secure and reliable oracle solution possible. Other oracle projects do not have such deep expertise in the field of oracles and do generate original academic papers of their own, limiting innovation and security.
Adoption and Network Effects – Chainlink is the most widely used and adopted oracle solution in DeFi, securing over $3B+ in-production in innovative protocols such as Aave, Synthetix, yEarn, and more, creating a growing network effect attracting more users. Chainlink has undergone numerous security audits and has been time-tested for over a year on mainnet. Other oracle projects do not secure any real value as they have little to no in-production adoption on mainnet, providing users with no case studies or proof of network reliability.
Extreme Flexibility and Generalization – The Chainlink network is a highly flexible and blockchain-agnostic oracle framework utilized by DeFi applications, web services, and traditional enterprise alike. By acting as a universal blockchain abstraction layer, users leverage Chainlink to transmit any kind of data to and from any blockchain environment desired. Other oracle projects are much more limited in flexibility, being isolated to a single blockchain, and/or can only deliver particular types of data on-chain.

Mayank – Before we start, Could you share with me why you choose to work for Huobi and what’s about Huobi that attracts you so much.

Ciara – Having worked with some of the top financial institutions like Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte Consulting, and Ernst & Young before, I wanted to join Huobi because not only this company had the vision and ability to innovate the finance industry, but also the infrastructure to scale globally like the companies I had worked with. That’s why I chose to join Huobi. We move fast and constantly innovate with blockchain and digital assets but we have many of the protocols and procedures in place that you’d expect from a multinational organization. This is the very essence of Huobi, and we place a high value on compliance, security, and user safety.

Mayank – What are the key Strengths of Huobi vis-a-vis other exchanges and how would you like to articulate those strengthen in real life to the Indian community?

Ciara – Honest Trading Volume. At Huobi, we are user centred, honesty and security driven. We are sitting at the center of the decentralized digital economy so we’re seeing record growth across all of our business units as crypto adoption rises at an increasing pace. But I had some exciting news to share with our dear Indian users. Amid all of this growth and ahead of our 7th anniversary in September, we have some big updates planned across Huobi Group, including our spot exchange Huobi Global; our derivatives exchange Huobi Futures, our institutional arm Huobi Brokerage, our mining pool Huobi Pool, and Huobi Wallet. I’m excited to share an update on these as well as a preview of what’s to come this month. This year, we have seen over 908 million in average daily trading on our spot exchange, 26.54% increase compared to the same time last year. Just a few days ago, Huobi Global Announces Exclusive and Lowest Fee Rate Bands for India Crypto Spot Trading Market. The standard fee band is 0.099% and users can apply the HT offset to the 0.07% trading fee. Users with more than 2 Bitcoin idle funds can enjoy the lowest trading fee rate of 0.055%. This low fee discount is exclusive to the Indian market.

Mayank – A ton of derivatives exchanges have seen problems during volatile movements, especially when their index price is based on only 2 or 3 exchanges. How will Houbi Futures protect traders & ensure they are safe?

Ciara – Almost everybody understands that top volume and good market depth are of great importance though this can be fake. As a derivative exchange which requires demanding liquidity, risk control and security protection, every tiny element can bring about huge potential risks. It is well known, Huobi including Huobi Futures is renowned for its strong risk control with over 6 years’ experience in risk management. We can write a long article on it but I’d like to mention four typical features that play most important roles with regard to security.

  1. Robust Risk Management
    We have multiple Limits in the purpose of risk management (Price limit, order limit and position limit) to prohibit from manipulation; Real-time Surveillance such as real-time monitoring index prices and abnormal deals is also one of the measurements to ensure secure trading, etc.
  2. Tiered Adjustment Factor & Partial Liquidation Mechanism combined with Lowest Adjustment Factors
    As mentioned above, investors are most vulnerable to liquidation risks in derivatives sphere. As an exchange, we have been working hard to offer safe trading environments and less unnecessary liquidation risks by introducing policies like tiered adjustment factors, partial liquidation without additional liquidation fees, lowering the tired adjustment factors, etc.
  3. 2+1 Investors Protection
    On Huobi Futures, we have 2+1 investor protections to minimize investors losses.
    8/4 Risk Management Insurance Fund: Each trading pair has a corresponding risk management insurance fund to cope with unfilled liquidation orders losses.
    8/4 $2 Million clawback bet to cope with potential clawback losses. Currently we have been keeping “ZERO Clawback” world record pledging no default losses to users since launch.
  4. Well-performed system with high concurrency and low latency.
    System performance is vital to our users especially when the Bitcoin halving and our perpetual swaps is up to come which requires higher system load and faster speed due to the potentially high transaction. We’d prefer to have everything prepared to cater for users’ needs. That’s why devoted so much time and effort to upgrade system to V3.3.0 which is now increased by at least 50% in throughput and system response speed become at least 1 times faster.

Mayank – Why is Huobi Token better than other native exchange tokens? What are the main differences?

Ciara – HT is a decentralized digital asset based on Ethereum, with a limited total supply of 500 M, issued by Huobi Group on Jan 24, 2018. A few months ago, HT was launched in Japan as the First Global Leading Exchange Token Approved By Japanese Regulators, HT is burned with the 20% of Huobi Global monthly revenue. For instance, in May,3.425 million HT was burned (13.84 million USDT), an 11.1% increase month over month on burn volume. 209,012,000 HT has been burned as of June 15th.
HT is similar to brokerage, which is immune to the bull/bear market. Moreover, HT can also be applied in over 20 different scenarios including the deduction of service fees, exercising other VIP rights, Liquidity mining, DeFi mining etc.

Q2. As a crypto trading platform ,Why Huobi Exchange is best then others exchange?

Ciara – Trading volume alone isn’t what determines success. In the 7 years we’ve been around, our exchange hasn’t been affected by a major security breach and we plan to keep it that way. Just a few months ago, we launched Star Atlas, an on-chain analysis tool to monitor for illicit transactions. Even as we see record trading volume and user activity, we continue to prioritize our users’ safety. We’re also proud that our exchange hasn’t experienced any major outages during extremely volatile moments when there are a large number of concurrent users. We’ve been able to maintain the uptime unlike some of the other major exchanges because we’ve invested heavily into our backend infrastructure. Huobi has over 500 in-house developers globally to support the technical development of the platform. Many exchanges including some of the big names have outsourced the IT development to the third party.

Q4. DeFi transforms our relationships with money, investment, credit and debt. So, what do you think about the future of DeFi? What are the factors that allow HUOBI to make a difference.

Ciara – Our teams at Huobi always keep close attention to innovations and new changes in the market. However, we do take the current trend prudently. Instead of following trend blindly, Huobi conducts complete processes of risk assessment for our users. Here we face a dilemma. On the one hand, Defi is heated with high liquidity; on the other hand, there are potential high risks. Tobias – Hi, my name is Tobias. I am one of the core members and communication lead of the Autonio Foundation. My background is mainly Project Managment and Engineering in the field of Automation. I’ve followed Autonio since around November 2017, quite shortly after I bought my first tokens. Time went by, and I got more and more involved with the project. First I became an Admin in the main chat and later on the Community Manager. I am really happy today that I decided to stay accompanied with the project on its journey until today.

Loïc – Sure, so hi everyone! I’m Loïc. I’ve been into design for over a decade, and own a web-agency in France, where I live. Got interested in crypto in late 2017, and got really into Autonio almost straight away. I was active in the community which allowed me to be a community admin. I had then the great opportunity to be offered to help on the design and user experience side, so I’m currently the UX/UI designer of Autonio.

Mayank – Please tell our community about the Autonio Foundation.

Tobias – We’re an early stage DAO with the vision to build a prosperous community around algorithmic trading. The project was founded in 2017, with the goal to automate trading and offer a more profitable and secure trading experience. We’re developing tools and infrastructure to enable developers to build and users to exploit powerful auto trading tools, copy other traders, participate in trading competitions and generate passive returns. NIOX Suite is our toolset and its aim is to empower the anyone that is involved in DeFi creating autonomous systems to navigate the crypto markets with profitability, privacy and ease.

Mayank – Also let the community know about Autonio Products.

Loïc – We offer a range of tools around automated crypto trading, to allow everyone an easy access to trading tools that are usually not accessible. Our current apps are the NIOX Maker (automated market maker), the NIOX Trading Terminal (for algo-trading), NIOX AI (set of ML tools), and NIODEX (DEX that integrates natively our market maker). We are also working on a Marketplace which will allow any user to purchase algos, and enable him/her to get quickly set with an automated trading strategy.

Q1. Is there a minimum amount required to stake our $NIOX token? Can we unstake our $NIOX token whenever we want or is there a time for which they remain locked?

Loïc – Regarding the staking, there is a minimum amount of 300,000 NIOX tokens needed. It will make you part of the Autonio DAO. You can unstake 21 days after your initial staking, and need to keep your stake for 1 year to be able to claim staking rewards.

Q2. As a trader like me, the security of my funds is my first priority before choosing any exchange for trading. How much secure NIOX is? What programmable technology & security developed by your team to build the platform very secure?

Tobias – Everything we build is as decentralized and as trustless as possible. We never store your API keys for example on our end. We ensure to use systems that are widely known and vetted by big opensource communities.

Q3. When is your next Liquidity Mining Campaign and are incentives available so i participate? Tell us about your partnership with Loopring Exchange. Do you also plan to partner with popular DEX like KyberSwap and UniSwap to increase userbase?

Loïc – We’re launching a new Earndrop campaign which could be compared to a Liquidity Mining Campaign. By using our NIOX Maker app, you will cumulate rewards in NIOX. Q4. As a trader, I prefer to choose CEX for trading because of using DEX is more complicated. So, what can you tell to bring us using Niodex rather than any CEX? And why must we use Niodex while there were more popular DEX, let’s say Uniswap?

Tobias – A lot was done in development of DEXes. Loopring DEX for example is a orderbook based DEX with a trading experiences that comes very close to the ones that are centralized. Our own DEX will also count on Layer 2 based solution in the near future, to make trading there as easy as possible.

Loïc – CEX obviously still is the norm in terms of volume and ease of use. But DEXes are getting better very fast, and offer interesting privacy and security alternatives to CEXes. NIODEX interest would be that you have our tools natively integrated into them, which would allow you to automate super easily your strategies on it, from one single window.

Q5. Launching a digital asset trading platform at this time is a bit ambitious after the events in terms of security that have happened. How do you give confidence and guarantee security to your users to believe in your project?

Loïc – We rely on proven thid parties like Metamask to take care of your security. You never have to share anything private that would give direct access to your funds with Autonio. Also when you trade with our tools, you’re using the exchanges APIs, which can be programmed to not allow withdrawals for example.

Tobias – Also we will go open source soon. As soon as we are open source there will surely be dev bounties for everyone that is willing to contribute. Also if you really want to use our tools should for sure also join our trading group. There are a lot of helpful people that are always willing to help beginners. But we will also release educational content in text and video form soon.

Q6. Autonio is meant to help empower DeFi by developing accessible, easy to use and affordable trading tools to its users. How difficult would it be to develop a tool on Autonio, and are there tutorials to learn how to use them, specially beginners?

Loïc – Developing a strategy on Autonio is fairly simple (Market Making can be done in a few clicks!), but it still requires some basic knowledge to make the better use of it. We have a great community ready to help on any question you have, and are currently doing efforts in making our tools as easy to use as possible, but also providing great resources for beginners (video tutorials for example).

Q7. Being a hybrid Decentralized and centralized is quite wise for Autonio team, in near future do you think will be the best solution for NIOX (AUTONIO) to be a fully decentralized ? Is it polkadot/cosmos/kava/or any other chain that are being considered?

Tobias – We are constantly looking for other scaling solutions that might fit our portfolio of products. For example we are currently in talks with a big Layer 2 provider in terms of partnering and porting some of our products over to their ecosystem. But more on that will be announced when it’s safe and done. But we also constantly try to implement new DEXes and protocols into our market maker.

Q8. Despite connecting my METAMASK to the NIOX DEX, it still asks for my private key to enter to activate the Market Maker. Is this process necessary to trade and safe and will it be removed in the future?

Loïc – We are aware and totally agree that this is not an ideal solution. The key isn’t shared with us directly, it stays locally on your computer. But it’s still not as safe as it should. It is mainly due to it still being in beta, but we’re working on it so that it won’t be necessary with future releases of our DEX.

Tobias – Our DEX will get back into focus soon. There are some awesome news brewing around it atm.

Q9. September 2020 saw two major partnerships for Autonio with Loopring and Elrond. Firstly, why did you integrate Loopring Exchange into NIOX Maker and Secondly, why did Autonio migrate to Elrond?

Tobias – Because we like to have our focus on decentralized exchanges, and the throughput and performance of the Loopring DEX is exactly what fits our Maker Module, which is capable of placing 38 000 orders a day. So we need an environment that is able to keep up with our tools.
We have not completely ported over to Elrond, there will be an Elrond version of our Token, and some of our tools will use Elrond as a trustless and powerful backend. For example our DAO infrastructure will be ported there, and we will build a bridge for our token to make it transferable between Ethereum and Elrond, and the other way around. NIOX was always intended to be a mulit-chain token.

Q10. Can you provide some information about your future project NIOX AI please? What will be the mission of that and what values will it add to your ecosystem?

Tobias – AI, or better machine learning algorithms will play an important role in our tools in the near future. First implementation will be for example to enable the market maker to tweak its setting based on changing market conditions. Recalculation and resetting of the spread are two use cases that come to mind there. The role of AI will also grow over the time for us. We will be building a trading related AI marketplace with our partner Singularity Net as a sub market of their already existing infrastructure.

Q11. COVID 19 has slowed many economies around the world but as a crypto business has it affected you negatively or positively? Secondly, are you still on track to achieve your targets as the road map says??

Tobias – COVID didn’t have much of an impact on our workflow, since we as a team are widely spread over the globe. We are indeed on track atm. We will have some nice news and releases still to come this year. Stay tuned.

Q12. (i) What is the minimum amount of tokens I need to hold in order to use NIOX Suite? Are there different plans depending on the amount of tokens I have in hold?
(ii) Can you be Market Maker with NIOX Maker also in the centralized exchanges? Is it necessary to give access via API’s or how does Autonio handle my funds?

Loïc – (i) The good news is that for now, it’s free to use! The different plans that will need you to hold NIOX tokens to access will be released later on, we’re still fine tuning those.
(ii) You can indeed be a Market Maker using our NIOX Maker on centralized exchanges like Binance, Kucoin, etc. For that you do have to first create an API on the compatible CEX of your choice, then enter the API details on your Autonio Maker account.

Q13. Will NIOX Terminal be integrated with centralized exchanges? Will their order books be available for trading? Is the Autonio team planning to create a platform to integrate all ONIOX Maker, NIOX Terminal, NIOX Exchange, NIOX DAO и NIOX AI products for easy access to users?

Tobias – There are already several centralized exchanges implemented into our maker module. We also have Binance, Bitfinex, KuCoin, Beaxy and DigiFinex.
We want to have all modules to be in one place in the end, to make is as easy to access as possible for every user.

Q14. Who is the AUTONIO platform for? For professional traders? How can regular non-expert investors use your platform?

Tobias – The Maker Module is quite easy to set up, tbh. But it will also get some advanced settings in the very near future, to please both, pros and beginners

Q15. Each project created has its own mission and goals, so what are Autonio missions and goals in the future? How important Autonio will be to everyone in the future

Tobias – Our mission is to democratize algorithmic trading and to build a prosperous community around it.

Q16. Currently a lot of crypto investors use phones to work, so does Autonio have a plan to develop a platform on IOS or ANDROID?

Tobias – we hired a full stack android developer not long ago… that’s all I got to say about that 😁

Q17. With NIOX maker users can become liquidity providers, what are the advantages of doing so through this product instead of directly in the specific exchange?

Loïc – Providing liquidity with NIOX Maker allows you to automate your strategy. You still technically do it directly in the specific exchange, we’re just a tool that helps to automate that easily.

Q18. What does #NIOX think about solving issues that the DeFi ecosystem still can’t solve? and why this is the problem important.

Tobias – Lack of liquidity is one of the major problems in the DeFi space. This is one of the problems we tackle by providing our market maker, and making it accessible to a broad audience.

Q19. Liquidity is the challenge of defi, how does Autonio solve this problem?

Loïc – Agreed, liquidity is for sure one of the biggest challenge for DeFi. We do our best to help solve this by:

  • Creating tools that anyone can use, not just “crypto whales”. And to make them as accessible as we can.
  • Our Market Maker is specifically designed to enhance liquidity, and the fact that it’s automated makes sure that it keeps the liquidity in a tight spread (defined by the user) which is great at facilitating volume.
  • We try to stay open and partner with great actors of the DeFi world, to build bridges that will better DeFi as a whole.

Q20. Can you tell me what are the uses or roles that can be used the $NIOX token? Have any special benefit?

Tobias – With NIOX you will be able to access the tools and services we provide. You can also stake those tokens and become part of the governance of our project as a DAO member.
